When I am stuck while writing, I watch video essays.
Not to blindly follow the storytelling-advice they provide, but to shake something out from my brain that was already there, just a bit out of reach.

2017 has been weird. But for myself it has been pretty great.
Me and my girlfriend bought and moved into our own apartment, as opposed to renting. It has resulted in some furniture shopping,but not more than I can handle 😉

Christmas is now over for me, and I’m back at work. Only a three-day work-week before new-year’s, so I won’t complain 🙂

I just got back from watching the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra perform sci-fi music in the Grieghallen concert hall.
The Dark Souls in Thor Ragnarok
When I watched Thor Ragnarok at the cinema this weekend, I noticed some things that reminded me very much of the Dark Souls video game series. But how many of the similarities were actually inspired by Dark Souls, and how many were just derived from the same sources that Dark Souls had originally drawn from?
Ikea Day
Today I’m spending much of the day in IKEA with my girlfriend and her mum.
Made me remember this old song again.
Then later we are playing Borderlands (2) for the first time. Just me and my gf for that one 😉
