Here’s a short poem about dragons:
The world is wilting
People are starved, homeless, overworked
And there is nothing to do about it
Some have all they need
A few have more
A few of them have more than they could ever use
They lay there, on their piles of money
Collecting
Never satisfied
Their companies make money
But it is not all the money in the world
So the dragons put pressure down the chain
Budgets get cut, people get fired
The companies cut corners
The well-being of the planet is not as important,
As the well-being of their masters’ hoard
And money trickles down, to a point
The world is wilting
People are starved, homeless, and overworked
And there is nothing to do about it
