Having watched all of James Gunn’s live-action DC projects recently, including The Suicide Squad, season one and two of Peacemaker, and Superman (2025), I found the experience incredibly refreshing after the previous attempt at making a DC cinematic universe. These superhero movies and TV shows offer a new perspective on the DCU, distinguishing themselves from previous DC films.
