Top 5 Songs from ‘MoS: Level 10’

Top 5 Songs from ‘MoS: Level 10’

A few years ago, I shared my favorite song from each ‘Miracle of Sound’ Level album.

I later made a Top 5 or 10 list for each album (depending on how big the album was).

Gavin Dunne has now released his tenth Level album, so I’m here to give it the same treatment as I did for the previous ones!

5. City Of Dreams

Most of Miracle Of Sound’s songs are based on video games that Gavin Dunne has played for inspiration. However, Cyberpunk 2077 is not a released video game, but a game that is set to be released on the 17th of September 2020.

The game is however based on the 1988 dystopian tabletop role-playing game Cyberpunk 2020, and the video game’s developer CD Project Red has released a bunch of trailers and gameplay footage, so I’m sure Gavin had a lot of inspiration from that.

I am really exited for the release of Cyberpunk 2077, mostly because it is made by the same people that made The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, one of my favorite games ever. So this song builds on that hype, in addition to just being a fantastic song on its own too.

4. Back To The Start

This song is actually not based on any media, and is rather a completely original inspiring rock song about starting over.

It makes me feel really good, don’t know what more I can say.

3. Show Your Style

I’ve never played a Devil May Cry game before, but I just love the energy in this song!

Really cool 🙂

2. Payday

The Outer Worlds is a satirical first-person sci-fi RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment.

The game has a satirical anti-capitalist story, and this song really highlights that in a cool bluesy sort of way. I’m quite anti-capitalist too at times, so the lyrics in this song really hits home for me.

1. Neon Red

This dark industrial synthwave song really pumps me up when I’m listening to it, and it’s really catchy too! Also, I can’t overstate how much I’m looking forward to playing Cyberpunk 2077.

Not to mention how much I’m looking forward to the Cyberpunk songs Gavin Dunne will come up with once he has actually played the game, if he can come up with one of his best songs ever based on just the promotional material.
