This Is Norway

We are closing in on the 17th of May, the Norwegian Constitution Day, so I figured it was time to remind everyone what it is we are celebrating.

This video is from 2007, but it is as true now as it ever was.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll go to eat some fish and potatoes.

  1. Hahaha Du är rolig! Norge var svenskt till 1905, då Sveriges kung ville vara snäll. Har du gjort videon själv?😁😁😁 In English😁 You are so fun! Norway was Swedish until 1905 when the king of Sweden felt sorry for the Norwegian people and give the land back to them.😁😁😁 (Du vet att jag skojar, hoppas jag😊)

    • Nah, sadly it was not me that made the video :p

      Sounds correct to me 😉
Danmark also had us at some point!
      We are very popular.

  2. That was a cute video Sindre – a “tell all” about your country. The USA’s celebration is not as exciting as we don’t dress up for our Constitution Day – just shoot off fireworks. Maybe folks here dressed up like the founding fathers for the Bicentennial in 1976, as that was a big occasion. Speaking of dressing up (or dressing down, or even abandoning clothes altogether), the video forgot to mention Oslo’s Vigeland Park, which was touted as pretty racy back in 1983 when our tour group visited Norway. 🙂
